Je suis malade Lara Fabian & Stephie Pahlavi Zan ~ French and English subtitles

I'm in love with her! Lara Fabian sings beautifully. She sings with such intense passion and feeling.
I believe, from watching her, that she truly goes to that space of what she is singing. For example watch her at the end of Lara Fabian's "Je Suis Malade".
She appeared to be in another world while the audience applauded. She was still in that space of what she sang about. She takes every single word and makes it her own. I love this incredible talent. She is without a doubt one of the best singers that I am disappointed to have recently just discovered. I feel like I had been missing out on this beauty. Lara is stunning, articulate, intelligent, uber-talented, passionate, has an incredible voice, is mesmerizing to watch because she sucks you into this gorgeous microcosm...in one of her performances. She sings, acts and much more during a performance.
I don't often have the desire to meet many specific persons....but I would die and go to heaven if I could take her to dinner and pick her mind about her work. It fascinates me.
She has to balance so many things while she sings. I never tire of her voice and certain songs that are my favorite.

God Bless and Warm Regards,

Quotes from Stephie Pahlavi Zan: Uneducated Gossip...It's Always Complete Strangers who have the Most to Say!

Uneducated Gossip...It's Always Complete Strangers who have the Most to Say!

I am writing to comment on slanderous references to me, communicated by individuals who do not know me. Since I live by Eleanor Roosevelt's assertion, "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people," I will not honor ad hominem attacks with words in kind. I can only state that people who engage in defamation against someone with whom they are not acquainted (or, much less, apprehend the facts, which they do _not_ take time to verify) do nothing more than waste time and fill a pitiable void in their own lives. I wish them well, while categorically refuting their falsehoods.

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb
Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back home

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can't wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
Bid my blood to run
(I can't wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I've become

Now that I know what I'm without
You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can't wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
Bid my blood to run
(I can't wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I've become

Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life

Frozen inside without your touch
Without your love, darling
Only you are the life among the dead

All this time I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more
Bring me to life

(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can't wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
Bid my blood to run
(I can't wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I've become

Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life

The Best of Boney M

"Ma Baker"

FREEZE! I'm Ma Baker - put your hands in the air,
gimme all your money

- This is the story of Ma Baker, the meanest cat
from ol' Chicago town

She was the meanest cat
In old Chicago town
She was the meanest cat
She really moved them down
She had no heart at all
No no no heart at all

She was the meanest cat
Oh she was really tough
She left her husband flat
He wasn't tough enough
She took her boys along
'cos they were mean and strong

Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die

They left a trail of crime
Across the U.S.A.
And when one boy was killed
She really made them pay
She had no heart at all
No no no heart at all

Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die

she met a man she liked
she thought she'd stay with him
one day he formed with them
they did away with him
she didn't care at all
just didn't care at all

- Here is a special bulletin.
Ma Baker is the FBI's most wanted woman.
Her photo is hanging on every post office wall.
If you have any information about this woman,
please contact the nearest police station...

- Don't anybody move! The money or your lives!

One day they robbed a bank
it was their last foray
the cops appeared too soon
they couldn't get away
and all the loot they had
it made them mighty mad
and so they shot it out
Ma Baker and her sons
they didn't want to hang
they died with blazing guns
and so the story ends
of one who left no friends

Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die

Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die

Dessay performs "Der Hölle Rache" from "Die Zauberflöte"

Though Dessay's acting leaves much to be desired, her impeccable voice, both nimble and effortless, shines brilliantly in this aria. My only complaint is that she performs it too sweetly.

Stephie Pahlavi Zan Commentary : Diana Damrau - Queen of the Night - Mozart The Magic Flute

This is perhaps the greatest interpretation of this iconic role, and really, the only performance that truly matters.  Diana Damrau's flawless singing and amazing acting paints the queen in her truest form: evil.
